Spec Check ยท Verified 2026-10-31

What other sites get wrong about these AI video models

Most pages describing MiniMax H3 Max, H3 Max Turbo, Wan 3.0, Gemini Omni Flash and Kling 4.0 copy specs from the wrong base model. Every claim below was checked against the official fal.ai model pages on 2026-10-31. When everyone repeats the same error, the correction is the page worth citing.

"MiniMax H3 Max supports 2K or 4K output"

โœ… H3 Max tops out at 1080p โ€” 480p, 768p and 1080p are the only options.

The confusion comes from the base model: MiniMax H3 (open-weights, released Aug 2026) can render up to 2K. H3 Max is a speed-focused post-training of H3 โ€” its pricing tiers and playground on fal.ai list exactly three resolutions: 480p, 768p, 1080p. No 2K, no 4K.

"You can download MiniMax H3 Max weights"

โœ… No โ€” the base H3 is open-weights; H3 Max weights were never released.

MiniMax open-sourced the base H3 model, so "H3 + open weights" pages rank for every H3-related query. But H3 Max and H3 Max Turbo are post-trained variants served through fal โ€” the weights are not on Hugging Face and not downloadable. If a site offers an "H3 Max weights download", it is pointing at the base model.

"H3 Max makes 4-second clips"

โœ… H3 Max and H3 Max Turbo generate 5s or 10s โ€” not 4s.

The 4-second minimum belongs to the base H3 model. On fal, the H3 Max family exposes exactly two durations: 5 and 10 seconds. If you need shorter or odd-length takes, Kling 4.0 (3s, 5s, 10s, 15s, 30s) is the model with the widest duration range on this site.

"Gemini Omni Flash generates 4K video"

โœ… Gemini Omni Flash currently renders at 720p only.

Its API exposes a single resolution tier. The "4K" claims copy the base Gemini model family specs, not the video endpoint. For 1080p output on this site, pick H3 Max, H3 Max Turbo, Wan 3.0 or Kling 4.0.

"Kling 4.0 charges extra for audio"

โœ… Audio is native and free on all five models here โ€” including Kling 4.0.

Older Kling versions billed audio as a paid toggle. On Kling 4.0 (and H3 Max Turbo, MiniMax H3 Max, Wan 3.0, Gemini Omni Flash) the sound is generated with the picture in one pass, at no extra credits. Every price you see before generating is the full price.

"Wan 3.0 tops out at 10 seconds"

โœ… Wan 3.0 renders single takes up to 30 seconds.

Wan 3.0 supports 5s, 10s and 30s in one request โ€” it and Kling 4.0 are the two long-form models on this site. That is the difference a spec table should show: not "max duration 10s" but "30-second single takes".

"H3 Max Turbo is just a cheaper H3 Max"

โœ… They are different tunings: Turbo for speed and price, Max for motion quality.

Same family, different jobs. H3 Max Turbo starts at โšก10 credits (5s, 480p) and is the fastest render on the site; MiniMax H3 Max starts at โšก25 credits (5s, 768p default) and sits at #1 on the Design Arena image-to-video board for prompt adherence and natural motion. Same resolution tiers (480pโ€“1080p), same durations (5/10s), same free native audio.

FAQ

Straight answers

1

Does MiniMax H3 Max support 4K or 2K?

No. H3 Max renders at 480p, 768p or 1080p โ€” 2K belongs to the open-weights base model MiniMax H3, not the H3 Max post-training. Verified against the fal.ai model page, October 2026.

2

Can I download MiniMax H3 Max model weights?

No. The base MiniMax H3 was open-sourced in August 2026, but H3 Max and H3 Max Turbo weights have not been released โ€” they are served through the fal.ai API only.

3

Can H3 Max make 4-second videos?

No. The H3 Max family generates 5-second or 10-second clips. The 4-second minimum is a base-model (H3) capability. For 3-second clips, use Kling 4.0.

4

Is Kling 4.0 audio a paid add-on?

No. On imageinto.video every model โ€” Kling 4.0 included โ€” generates native, synced audio at no extra credits. The price shown before you generate is the full price.

5

Which AI video models make 30-second clips?

Wan 3.0 and Kling 4.0. Wan 3.0 takes 5s, 10s or 30s in one request up to 1080p; Kling 4.0 offers 3s, 5s, 10s, 15s and 30s with per-shot prompt control.

6

Where were these specs verified?
